SaveMedia 是一款浏览器扩展，用来把你正在观看的网页视频和音频保存到自己的电脑。本政策说明扩展会在你的设备上处理哪些信息、哪些信息会发送到我们的服务器，以及这些信息用来做什么。
1. 谁在处理这些信息
SaveMedia 由本扩展的开发者运营。使用统计和你主动提交的反馈通过 HTTPS 发送到我们自己的服务器。扩展不接入第三方广告或第三方统计服务。
2. 留在你设备上的信息
当你播放网页中的视频或音频时，扩展会检查该页面的网络响应，并在本机记录可以保存的媒体，包括：
- 媒体地址、格式、文件大小、文件名和类型
- 完成这次下载所需的请求头。其中可能包含 Cookie、Referer、Origin 或 Authorization
这些内容保存在浏览器的本地存储里，只用于显示下载列表，以及在你点击下载后向原网站请求文件。媒体文件保存到你的电脑，不会上传到我们的服务器。请求头也不会随使用统计发送。
关闭对应标签页后，该页的媒体记录会被删除。下载过程中的临时缓存会在标签页关闭或浏览器下次启动时清理。
3. 会发送到我们服务器的信息
使用统计
扩展首次运行时会在本机生成一个随机安装标识（UUID）。它用来区分不同的安装，不包含你的姓名、邮箱或浏览器账号。
在安装或更新扩展、打开扩展弹窗、开始下载，以及下载成功或失败时，扩展会发送一条使用记录。记录包含：
- 事件名称、扩展版本、时间和安装标识
- 与网页相关的事件还会包含网站主机名（例如 www.example.com）
- 打开弹窗时的媒体数量；下载相关事件中的格式、大小、类型和下载方式
- 下载失败时的失败原因
使用统计只包含网站主机名，不包含完整网页地址，也不包含媒体文件、Cookie 或请求头。
你提交的反馈
只有你在扩展里填写并提交「反馈问题」时，我们才会收到以下内容：
- 反馈类型和你填写的问题描述
- 你填写的网页地址
- 扩展版本、浏览器标识（User-Agent）和提交时间
- 当时列表里的媒体地址、格式、大小和类型
- 安装标识
媒体地址有时带有网站签发的临时访问参数。请只提交你愿意让我们看到的页面和描述。若当时网络不可用，反馈会先保存在本机，稍后再自动提交。
4. 这些信息用来做什么
- 在你的设备上找出可保存的媒体，并完成你发起的下载
- 了解扩展的安装、更新和下载情况，改进不支持或经常失败的网站
- 处理你提交的问题
我们不会出售这些信息，也不会用它们投放广告。
5. 信息共享
使用统计和反馈只发送给 SaveMedia 自己的服务器。除法律要求，或为保护用户、公众以及本扩展的权利与安全所必需的情形外，我们不会向他人提供这些信息。
6. 保存多久
- 某个标签页的媒体记录：关闭该标签页后删除
- 下载临时缓存：标签页关闭或浏览器下次启动时删除
- 尚未发送成功的统计和反馈：暂存在本机，发送成功后从本机删除
- 已经到达服务器的统计和反馈：在改进产品和排查问题所需的期间内保留
卸载扩展会删除保存在本机的数据，包括安装标识。已经发送到服务器的记录不会随卸载自动删除。
7. 你可以做什么
- 反馈由你主动提交，可以不填写
- 在浏览器中移除扩展，即可删除本机数据
- 如需删除服务器上与这次安装相关的记录，请在卸载前通过「反馈问题」说明。提交时会自动附带安装标识，便于我们找到对应记录
8. 儿童
SaveMedia 不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。
9. 政策更新
我们可能会更新本政策。更新后的文本会发布在本页面，并修改上方的生效日期。

Privacy Policy

SaveMedia is a browser extension that saves video and audio from the page you are watching onto your computer. This policy explains what the extension processes on your device, what is sent to our server, and why.
1. Who processes this information
SaveMedia is operated by the developer of this extension. Usage statistics and feedback you choose to submit are sent over HTTPS to our own server. The extension does not include third-party advertising or third-party analytics.
2. Information that stays on your device
When you play video or audio on a page, the extension inspects that page's network responses and stores matching media locally, including:
- The media address, format, file size, file name, and type
- Request headers needed to finish that download. These may include Cookie, Referer, Origin, or Authorization
This data stays in the browser's local storage. It is used to show the download list and, after you click Download, to request the file from the original site. Media files are saved on your computer and are not uploaded to our server. Request headers are not included in usage statistics.
Media records for a tab are deleted when that tab is closed. Temporary download cache is removed when the tab closes or the next time the browser starts.
3. Information sent to our server
Usage statistics
The first time the extension runs, it creates a random installation ID (UUID) on your device. The ID distinguishes one installation from another. It does not contain your name, email address, or browser account.
The extension sends a usage record when you install or update it, open the popup, start a download, or when a download succeeds or fails. A record includes:
- The event name, extension version, time, and installation ID
- For events tied to a page, the site hostname (for example, www.example.com)
- The number of media items when the popup opens; and the format, size, type, and download mode for download events
- The failure reason when a download fails
Usage statistics include the site hostname only. They do not include the full page address, the media file, cookies, or request headers.
Feedback you submit
We receive the following only when you fill in and submit Feedback in the extension:
- The feedback type and the description you wrote
- The page address you entered
- The extension version, browser user agent, and submission time
- The media addresses, formats, sizes, and types listed at that time
- The installation ID
A media address can contain temporary access parameters issued by the site. Submit only pages and descriptions you are comfortable sharing with us. If the network is unavailable, the feedback is stored on your device and submitted automatically later.
4. How this information is used
- To find media you can save and to complete downloads you start
- To understand installs, updates, and downloads, and to improve sites that fail or are unsupported
- To handle problems you report
We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Sharing
Usage statistics and feedback are sent only to SaveMedia's own server. We do not provide this information to others except when required by law, or when necessary to protect the rights and safety of users, the public, or this extension.
6. How long it is kept
- Media records for a tab: deleted when the tab is closed
- Temporary download cache: deleted when the tab closes or the next time the browser starts
- Statistics and feedback waiting to be sent: kept on your device until the send succeeds, then deleted locally
- Statistics and feedback that have reached the server: kept for as long as needed to improve the product and investigate problems
Uninstalling the extension deletes data stored on your device, including the installation ID. Records already sent to the server are not deleted automatically when you uninstall.
7. Your choices
- Feedback is optional and is sent only when you submit it
- Removing the extension deletes the data stored on your device
- To delete server records for this installation, use Feedback before you uninstall and say that you want the data deleted. The submission includes the installation ID, which lets us find the matching records
8. Children
SaveMedia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The new text will be published on this page, and the effective date above will change.
